Art Beyond the Studio

Art in Action

For Chloe, creative practice is a form of attention: a way to listen, connect, and create space for people to feel seen. Her work beyond the studio brings this belief into shared spaces, where making art becomes an opportunity for expression, participation, and care.

Youth Arts for Humanity

Chloe founded and co-chairs Youth Arts for Humanity, a youth-led nonprofit organization that uses arts to advance humanitarian initiatives and community engagement.

Through workshops, exhibitions, and service projects, the organization creates opportunities for people to make, share, and connect through arts.

Its work reflects Chloe’s belief that creative practice can support both individual expression and collective care.

Community Art Workshops

Through Youth Arts for Humanity, Chloe has designed and co-led 13 community art workshops in partnership with libraries, community organizations, art studios, and local artists, engaging more than 250 participants across the United States and Paraguay. She has also organized biannual bracelet-making service projects with local church youth groups, engaging more than 100 volunteers in creating over 1,000 handmade bracelets for children receiving free dental care through international humanitarian clinics. Together, these initiatives create opportunities for creative expression, collaboration, and charitable service.

The Brushes Project

The Brushes Project is an international arts-and-health initiative that Chloe conceived and co-developed with Dentists for Humanity. During two outreach trips to Paraguay, she helped facilitate portable art stations and creative workshops for more than 500 children and families, transforming dental clinic waiting areas into spaces for creativity, comfort, and connection. The project also revealed care as reciprocal: while children and families in Paraguay received support through the outreach, their creativity traveled back with the volunteers and helped inspire exhibitions and fundraising efforts that supported humanitarian and healthcare initiatives in the United States.

Annual Charity Art Exhibitions

Chloe has initiated and co-organized three annual charity art exhibitions from 2024–2026 at The Stove Factory Gallery in Boston, in partnership with Studio M Art. Featuring artwork created in Youth Arts for Humanity workshops alongside work by youth and adult artists, the exhibitions welcomed more than 300 visitors and raised over $9,100 for tthe Extraordinary Needs Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital. By giving artists the opportunity to share and sell their work, the exhibitions created a full-circle connection between artistic expression and service—allowing young and adult artists to use their talents to support people in need.

Art Auction
at KOHR Golf Academy

In 2025, Chloe was invited to present an original watercolor painting at KOHR Golf Academy’s annual award ceremony after the academy’s director saw her work at a Youth Arts for Humanity charity art exhibition.

The painting was sold through an auction, raising more than $1,300 for Youth Arts for Humanity. Chloe was invited to participate again in the 2026 annual award ceremony.

The invitation connected Chloe’s studio practice with a new audience and showed how one artwork could support the continued work of her nonprofit organization.
